:: Each wedding is unique. Rather than offering a limited set of photographic packages, we will work together to create a wedding album to your specifications. I book only one wedding per day. This allows me to be available to photograph the bride as she prepares for the wedding; to take family and/or group photos before the wedding; and to photograph the ceremony and the reception. It’s helpful to think ahead of time when you would like to take family and group photos—some couples have the photos done before the wedding, others have them done between the ceremony and the reception. It is also helpful to assign the task of rounding up family and friends for informal shots to a family member, or your maid or matron of honor. This gives you one less thing to think about that day. Quick turnaround of images is important. The beauty of digital photography is the quick turnaround and varied applications your wedding images can be applied to. I will create a Web page for image viewing as I download the camera. I lighten or darken, crop, spot, and edit the images for the site. You and your guests can view a professional site within days of the wedding. I will also provide you with a disk containing all of the images, formatted to be read by both PC or Mac systems. Prints for albums are additonal. Photographic prints for wedding albums and enlargements are carefully selected. Enhancements to the images are made with specialized filters to add creative effects. In addition to color, images can be black and white or duotones (black with an additional color). All enhancements and effects are covered in the print costs. (See reprint price list for details.) All retouched images can be added to the CD. Rate to photograph a wedding is $795.00 for the day. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required in advance. The remaining $695.00 is payable on the day of the wedding. For small weddings without receptions, the fee is negotiable. Planning for wedding photography. To ensure success, it helps to meet with the bridal couple well in advance of the day to discuss details. If plans change, notes via email will keep us all up to date. As an incentive to meet both bride and groom before the wedding, an engagement portrait is included in the cost. This will also help us get to know each other, discuss ideas, and allow you to see how I work. Summing up • Wedding day rate is $795.00. • You will recieve a proof album containing most of the images from the Web site. • Web site with the majority of the day’s images will be up within the next week. • You will recieve a CD with all of the images from Web site. • An engagement portrait is included at no additional cost.
